About Me

Hey, I’m Mike — builder of clean interfaces, collector of shiny tech, and a guy who believes life is better with good hardware, good design, and good people around.

About Me

Blending design, code, and storytelling to build human-centered digital products.

Portrait of Michael Jeffery Sych

Yeah, I love performance… but I’m also the type who pauses mid-benchmark to pet my dogs or admire nice typography. Sure, I run dual OLEDs, a beast desktop, and two 3D printers like I’m prepping for a cyberpunk craft fair — but I’m also grounded, thoughtful, and genuinely curious about how tech can make life feel better, not just run faster.

I’m pursuing web development because creating things — websites, brands, physical prints, photos — gives me peace. I like solving problems, polishing details, and learning new tools, but I value vibes and connection just as much as clean code. I’ll optimize a dev workflow one minute and recommend a good standing desk or camera lens the next.

Outside of the digital grind, I’m hanging with Cooper and Togo my two dogs and my partner Kirsten, messing with photography, re-organizing my workspace for the 27th time, or wandering around Edmonton pretending every coffee shop is a co-working space. I laugh at my own nerd jokes, and I’m learning balance — slower mornings, better posture, more mindful focus, less “panic-code until it’s perfect.”

I’m here to build cool things, grow steadily, and enjoy the journey — not just sprint to the end. Soft on the edges, strong in the core… like a well-designed UI or a nicely weighted keyboard switch.
